Hello everyone, I hope you're staying safe and well. How is Lockdown 3.0 treating you? It's been a brilliant week of classes here at Yoga & Pilates Live Studio, where we have had a FOCUS ON POSTURE week this week. Well done to all those who joined me for Pilates and Yoga this week. You are doing great! More and more clients are turning to me for Pilates and Yoga lessons they can do from home during this time where Physiotherapy and the gym and in person Yoga & Pilates classes are not accessible. Pilates especially has very popular with more and more people working from home, experiencing bad posture and resurfacing back problems. This can be brought on by inactivity with our usual classes and gym sessions going by the wayside as life in lockdown takes over. And improper posture whilst working. As we lose our 'Core Strength' and our abdominal muscles become weaker, through lack of appropriate exercise, this leaves our backs more open to injury. That is why it is so important to keep exercising for your health and wellbeing. All this can be corrected and eased with proper Stretches & Pilates exercises. So this week I have created and taught a series of classes with this in mind. New to my website you will find Pilates for Bad Backs, Hatha Yoga Backbends & Pilates for Posture. All these classes are suitable for beginners and intermediates. You just choose the option which suits you. All are no impact exercise classes suitable for those with knee and back injuries.
